Today's a special day for me.

Once again, I have reached another milestone, or is it millstone, in my life. Today is the day when I will be inundated with offers from companies who cater for the more senior end of the age cycle. I HATE being constantly reminded that I am now over 50 years old!

My daughter, once again has completely surprised me with this birthday video clip. I did not realise that the Beatles had even done this. I think it must have been from one of the BBC recordings, or from one of their special records given out to only their fans each year.

I should have a fairly quite day today, just taking my wife to and from work, my daughter to and from school, trimming the garden hedge... Now that is going to take the best part of the day to do! It is a glorious sunny day, so it will actually be quite nice to do. I may even get a bit of sunburn for my efforts!

This evening, I am being taken out to a Chinese Restaurant for a birthday meal. Yum, yum!

Oh and one last thing, yesterday, I have finally completed my en suite shower project, and here's the picture to prove it!

My next project is to wallpaper the hallway, stairwell, and upper landing. I might do this on my next holiday in October, unless we all go away for a real holiday instead!

  2. Happy Birthday Ian! Will not remind one of his age... Thanks for everything you did regarding the court. Justice was served and everyone knew the truth as the thugs evidence did not add up one bit. 'When the chips are down you know who your true friends are'. All my friends pulled through for me and to be honest it was an emotional process. I am now a free spirit with no worries and loof forward to my life. A fresh start that any decent human being deserves. I thank you for all you have done and look forward to seeing you.

  3. Happyjilz, I am glad I could be of some help. As it turned out my statement was not required by your defence team. Enjoy your holiday.
